I have presented in over thirty conferences, workshops and colloquia around the world, including conferences in philosophy, in medicine and in medical education. In addition to academic and public audiences, I have spoken to various knowledge users in industry and healthcare, including Boston Scientific and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Teaching and Education

I teach philosophy of science and philosophy of medicine to undergraduates in philosophy and in medicine. Currently, I am the instructor for the graduate course “Philosophy of Medicine” at the IHPST, University of Toronto. I am interested in integrating philosophy into health professional training, and have developed philosophy sessions for medical schools at the University of Toronto and McMaster University.
